Introducing . . . American Paint Company

I am so excited to announce that I am officially a retailer for the
American Paint Company!

All American Paint Company products are all natural,
zero VOC, eco-friendly and solvent-free.
Unlike some other brands, their paints contain
no acrylic, no fungicide and no co-polymers.

There are 32 gorgeous colors
{with cool names like Lincoln's Hat, Dawn's Early Light and Momma's Lipstick}
and a limited edition selection of 12 European inspired colors called
the Ellis Collection.

The paint has a thick consistency and can be watered down
(use a separate container so you don't contaminate your paint)
or blended with other colors to achieve color and finish you desire.

What can you paint with American Paint Company Chalk, Clay and Mineral Paint?

  • Wood Furniture
  • Wood Flooring
  • Linoleum Flooring
  • Walls
  • Counter Tops
  • Fridge/Freezers
  • Metal-Lockers, vases, drawer pulls and knobs
  • Fabric - upholstered chairs, burlap, etc

Just about anything!
{some surfaces will require different preparation and sealing techniques}

The wax is the nicest I have ever used, it's so soft and creamy,
and you don't have to put a layer of clear wax before using the dark wax!

I love the finish of the Top Coat - it is so easy to use, provides
a nice durable finish and is completely non-toxic!

They also offer a variety of specialty products,
such as Mica, Glaze and True Grit.

I have been playing with these a little and will
post some more information about them soon.

Products are available on my Online Store link above and
Cottage Crafters East
2451 Nazareth Road
25th Street Shopping Center
Easton, PA 18045

I will be doing a demonstration at Cottage Crafters
on Saturday, July 26, 2014,
so if you are in the area, stop by and say Hi!

Linking up to these great parties!

Goodwill Furniture Window Shopping

On a recent trip to Goodwill, I spotted some amazing
pieces of furniture, so I snapped some pictures to share.

This couch has a slight curve to it and is in really good shape.
With a little love and some better upholstery skills than
I possess ~ it would be fabulous.

Painted Mirror

I received this huge mirror from a friend who no longer wanted it.
I loved it, but felt like it needed something . . . .
so it sat in my garage for awhile until I figured it out.

While wasting time on Pinterest one afternoon,
I spotted a pin where Nancy from Sea Rose Cottage
had stenciled a french love letter onto a mirror.

I loved the look but, of course,
I wanted to put my own twist on it,
so I pulled out my stencils and
painted an alternating pattern onto the mirror.
